Additionally, thisnon-invasive and cost saving technology offers another avenue for treating Hair Loss.
What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is performed using a handheald, drum or pen shaped device that is electrically powered with tiny needles that make preciese microscopic punctures into the skin. Just like traditional acupuncture, it stimulates the skin to repair through a process called dermal remodeling and produces new collagen. Collagen are the elastic fibers that make the skin smooth, tight, and youthful looking. As we age, collagen in the skin starts to decline.
Benefits:
Reduces fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars
Improves skin tone, firmness, and texture
Boosts collagen and elastin production naturally
Enhances absorption of serums and healing nutrients
Promotes overall circulation for a radiant, healthy glow
MicroNeedling History & Research:
Microneedling is based on the 2,000 year old Chinese Medicine principals of moving qi, moving blood, clearing heat, and healing the skin. Biomedical research shows that Microneedling increases keratinocytes and stem cells causing an increased production of collagen and elastin in the skin. Microneedling offers the Wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern skincare innovation.
Clinical studies published in Dermatologic Surgery and Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology shows microneedling significantly improves skin elasticity, reduces scarring, and stimulates collagen growth. When combined with acupuncture principles, results are amplified—supporting both skin health and whole-body balance.
How long does it last?
Microneedling research shows that treatments last as long as 3-5 years. Treatments are often noticable within 3 days of treatment.
Are there side effects?
